A bit late to the party, and this is as of that Air Superiority update and Seek and Destroy. If you have MEC enabled, turn off Auto radiator IMMEDIATELY. I don't know why, but Auto Radiator keeps the thing closed shut at 0% turning the poor Bearcat into an Ovencat. You can even full WEP this thing on 50% Radiator and if you're still climbing, by the time it goes orange, you're already at 5500m up with has a supply of cold air to cool down engines and oil.

New to air side of WT and i went from bulletspounge to +5 kills and almost zero deaths in two days with ur tutorials! Thanks!

no one told me boom and zooming is the easiest playstyle, I do much better in turn fighters than boom and zooms, granted I mostly play the a6m5 but I don't know why people think dog fighting is so hard, also I sometimes have trouble with getting to much speed and being forced to pull up or break my wings, how do you avoid this?

This thing is ridiculous in air arcade on runway capture matches. Just chucking aim9L’s and racking up easy kills and hit the deck flying away until reload then rinse and repeat. Hilariously unfair

I actually prefer this plane over the coursair with the cannons because these guns are a lot more accurate than the 20 mm

I actually kinda liked the plane I would get around and average of 7 kills in arcade most of which are from this plane the guns aren’t good but if I lead the shots I usually get the pilot for the insta kill

I feel like the hellcat in warthunder is just better suited as a ground attack aircraft. You can get a lot done with its payload in ground rb

the p-51 got a upgrade it seems its moved to 4.0 and is in rank 3 now,i can see that it was performing well in this rank to have moved so far.

I enjoy the f4f-3 cuz it has a large range of functionality like boom and zoom or turn fighting (unless against a zero)

I don't know. In RB, I've had exclusively bad experiences with this plane. My concern with it isn't even the ammo load, it's the turn rate, which is so bad it makes the plane almost unplayable as far as I'm concerned. In a dive, if the enemy plane so much as moves a muscle in your dive, you have to pull out cause you literally can't turn fast enough to lead the enemy plane. I normally get between 1 and 3 kills each RB battle, and I have consistently been getting between 0 and 1, with the I225. Arcade battles its a completely different story. The extreme power of the engine and the more forgiving turn radius makes this plane insane against almost anything you come up against. But in RB, it's been dogwater if you ask me. Maybe I just need to unlock some more modules for it, as it is almost completely stock as of now. But still, my only reaction to trying to play this plane in RB is frustration.

The fact you don't get full HEIT belt like the p63 a5 just sucks, cause many of the time the ap shell just pases through the plane doing no damage or if it somehow hits the engine it fuses and kills the full plane.

I’ve been playing this thing lately as a kind of glide/dive bomber at 4.0/5.0 in ground RB and have not been having good results with it unfortunately. It seems prone to wings snapping even from a single hit. I fully researched it so it’s not like I’m playing stock but for some reason I’m having a lot of trouble with speed compressing the controls at the speeds (300 mph+) that are needed to not be immediately shot down and generally choppy turning. Jest seems to have wobbly noise authority and flight performance when trying to use the bomber site to glide it in to the target and the bombs Do not have a huge explosive load to deal with tanks at higher br unless they’re close hits. However he is right that it can take a lot of damage from the rear and the pilot is protected by a lot of armor, so you can fly home even if you’ve been shot to pieces and are missing pieces of the wing. The engines can usually sustain flight even if one is dead. I will try the B25 next to compare it to that.

My fav part about this planes is that its extremely big, holds 4 people which is astonishing for a 1 propeller plane

Not done with the video yet but I have to say that you're videos are very helpful, I watched your P-40-E-1 video(even though it's a bit old by Internet standards) and I improved my performance in it (well I did try to out turn i-16 type 10s in it which went about as well as you'd expect). I went from being bullied by everything to gaming on mustangs in a full up tier (I play arcade and I am planning on staying in rank 2 for now). I already have a few planes I have a slight interest in so I hope they'll end up being good. I kinda like my 2.3 br line up with the p40,i16 type 10 and that other plane you get from the Russian beginner pack that has a name I can't be bothered to memorise. Thanks for the tips and your beginner friendly explanations Edit: if it seems like my writing reads like a point list instead of flowing forgive me I have always struggled with these sorts of things, speaking and writing things in a flowing manner have always taken me more effort than normal
